Welcome to the Wireless Networking and Sensing (WiNS) Group @ The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK)!
Our research mission is to develop low-latency wireless networking and intelligent wireless sensing technologies for real-time robotic and AI systems, such as edge/fog robotics, robot teleoperation, cloud-based video analytics, multimodal LLM. We strive to combine rigorous theory and practical implementations to solve real-world problems! Opening
We are looking for research assistants with experience on Open5G, ORAN, low-latency video streaming, multimodal language model to join our team. If you are interested, please drop an email to Henry with your CV.
We are always interested in hiring talented, highly-motivated research students with solid background in Information/Computer/Electronic/Control Engineering, or Computer Science. Students in our group are expected to be passionate about system research (i.e., build real-world systems to validate our research). If you want to join us, please email Henry ([email protected]) with your latest CV and transcripts. Please click here for detailed admission information in our department.
We will provide full supports for strong candidates to apply for the prestigious Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS). The Fellowship provides an annual stipend of HK$319,200 (approximately US$40,900) for three years plus other benefits. Application deadline: December each year.
Potential HKPFS applicants are encouraged to contact Henry by early May each year to arrange a paid summer intern at CUHK to better understand our research group.
The postdoc and RA openings will depend on funding availability. Feel free to drop an email to ask Henry.
